This Hall is located on the ground floor of the Hotel, it communicates with the "Mirror Hall" and therethrough with the "Metropol" Restaurant. Lighting is artificial.
The name of the Hall is determined by the colour of its walls. The luxurious chandelier, wall lighting fixtures, three stained-glass windows make an unforgettable impression. The ceiling is decorated in the English modernist style. The Hall is multifunctional: here a splendid ball, a press conference, buffet luncheons may be held.
In 1950 a famous banquet was given here by Mao Tsedung in honour of signing the Soviet-Chinese Treaty of Friendship. The main guest at the banquet was Stalin. In the recent 15 years many important conferences, presentations and banquets have been held in this Hall.
