Metropol Wins the Highest Awards of Gault&Millau Gastronomic Guide

The gifted brand chef of Metropol Hotel and SAVVA Restaurant, Andrei Shmakov, has captured a most prestigious award in the nomination of Executive Chef of Hotel of the international gastronomic guide Gault&Millau. Andrei has been distinguished as one of the main creators of the contemporary gastronomic image of Russia. SAVVA offering Andrei’s signature cuisine has joined the top three of the best Moscow restaurants according to the “golden” guide. Four chef’s hats earned by SAVVA in the judgment of the international expert panel is the highest assessment of Moscow restaurants.

On November 22, a gala dinner on the occasion of release of the Gault&Millau restaurant guide in Russia was held in Metropol. Gault&Millau, a guide for gourmet travelers, has brought together the best restaurants of the city, the most gifted chefs and various culinary experts. Gault&Millau has become the first world-class gastronomic guide to officially come to Russia.
