The updated Metropol Hotel carefully preserves the traditions of Moscow hospitality. One such tradition is the Russian tea ceremony, whose history dates back to the late 18th century.

The tea ceremony at "Metropol" is traditional treats in a new interpretation: blini with red caviar, signature pastries and vatrushki, mini sandwiches with salmon and beef, puffed pastries, handmade candies, natural marmalade by the hotel's head confectioner and much more. The main decoration and center of the ceremony, as tradition has it, is an old silver teapot.
