Designed by the renowned artist Ignaty Nivinsky in the style of the 18th century, this hall was formerly known as Louis XV. It is one of the most beautiful halls in the Metropol. The space features preserved stained-glass windows and antique neobaroque doors. The ceiling is adorned with a narrative painting depicting a Venetian carnival. The Chekhov hall resembles a precious antique jewelry box—it's compact size creates a cozy atmosphere, while the opulent decor makes it self-sufficient, requiring no additional festive embellishments. This space is ideally suited for wedding celebrations and anniversaries.

The "Metropol" hall was created in the neoclassical style. Its main decoration is a large stained-glass dome "The Creation of the World", made according to the sketches of Sergei Chekhonin.

In 1950, a banquet was held in the "Red" hall in honor of the signing of the Soviet-Chinese treaty of friendship. The honored guests at the banquet were Mao Zedong, leader of the PRC, and Joseph Stalin.
